This limited-edition “Artist of the Decade” presentation award was released in 1990, and this is one of 1000 displays produced by Platinum Limited Editions. The display contains a platinum LP record, album cover images and a plaque listing Michael Jackson’s many accomplishments as a solo artist during the 1980s. It also has a small plaque that denotes it as “249/1000″ and a small certificate hand-signed and numbered by Michael Jackson. These were originally given to employees at MJJ Productions and also offered for sale to fans by mail order.
